On Friday, May 2, the students of Saint Dominic Academy, Jersey City voted to elect a new student council executive board for the 2013-2014 school year. The newly-elected officers are Cara Keating of Weehawken, who will serve as student council president; the positions of vice-president and secretary will be held by Shayla Vazquez and Nikita Pandya, respectively, both of Jersey City. The treasurer will be Lauren Healy of Union City. All of the new officers are rising seniors and will work under the advisement of Gaylor Wade.
